Auto Electrical Engineering Manager

Fleet Witness provide cutting-edge vehicle safety and monitoring solutions to help businesses efficiently manage their fleets. We’re looking to hire an experienced Auto Electrical Engineer to help manage and grow our installation team.

Fleet Witness provide its services nationwide across mainland UK. For this phase of recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Auto Electrical Engineer based near our office in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. 

Immediate start available for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual, who can demonstrate high personal standards and excellent communication skills. A genuine interest in electronics and technology is a must!

The role will consist of the installation of connected cameras, safety sensors and vehicle trackers, anything from cars to 26T lorries and agricultural machinery. You will need to have experience of 12 and 24-volt systems. Experience within technical environments would be advantageous given that the solutions we supply can be technical and at times, will need to be configured, commissioned and demonstrated to the customer.

You will be required to be professional in your delivery and communications with both customers and other sub-contractors. You will be involved in the planning and roll-out of large-scale projects, where there will be the need to maintain detailed records of the completed work.

When applying, please bear in mind that we work closely with the transport industry. Given the nature of the industry, there are many occasions where we can only gain access to work on the vehicles over weekends. Our engineers will generally work 1-2 weekends per month. We do provide weekdays in lieu and many opportunities for overtime as a result of this. Whilst the majority of the work will be in your region, for larger projects we group engineers together which may require travel and time staying away.

A competitive salary is on offer with 28 days holiday, including bank holidays. A company vehicle will be provided, along with uniform, tools and a Smartphone.
